Don’t give me attitude!

Do you remember ever saying “I don’t need any attitude right now”?

It may surprise you to know that attitude is something you definitely need!

Before I get to that, I’m going to give a little update on what’s been happening with my Facebook lead ad.

This will be a short post as to give time in case you want to listen to a teaching at the end 🙂

FB ad email review

I had my second 4 of 16 emails reviewed by my coach in the past week. These emails are part of the email sequence attached to the workflow for my Facebook lead ad.

A couple weeks back I had the first 4 reviewed and wrote about it as it was a very positive experience.

This time around it was no different, I’m happy to say! My coach was very happy with the emails I created and offered some minor but very important feedback on changes that can be made to improve them.

The bulk of the feedback was around making the subject lines a little more compelling and generating more curiosity. Same feedback for the “P.S.” at the end of the emails to compel readers to want to look forward to the next email.

The rest of the feedback was about including hyperlinks when I reference a blog I wrote or mention any product I’m an affiliate for.

Also, to pull the reader in more by asking questions in the body of the email such as, “Have you ever been in a situation where it’s all or nothing…” add a line saying, “It’s scary, isn’t it?”

Don’t give me attitude!

Now, what’s all this about needing attitude?

It’s obvious that there’s a bad attitude and a good attitude we can choose to live by, and in this case, I’m referring to a good attitude.

Let’s look at the meaning according to the Oxford.

Attitude – “a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person’s behavior.”

Attitude, I’m referring to belief, your attitude towards something and your belief about that thing are the same, present an attitude based on your belief.

What are your beliefs about becoming successful and reaching your dream life?

Document them and activate those beliefs by practicing living out the beliefs as if you are already that person. This is having the attitude needed to become successful.

Belief requires action in that direction. To say you believe something about yourself but not act makes it meaningless and powerless.

Attitude is a reflection; it is a result of a person’s will it is incalculably powerful it can bring about marvelous results for us but we need to train it patiently day by day. –Earl Nightingale—

Our environment is really a mirror of our mental attitude. If we don’t like our environment we have to change our attitude first. –Earl Nightingale—

Hi Denny – I believe that everything can be influenced by attitude. I also believe that attitude is a choice and possibly one of the only choices we truly have. I can’t choose what other people will think of me, I can’t choose what will happen exactly in the future, I can’t even choose what I want to eat at times. But what I can choose is my attitude. For me attitude is all about how I respond to a situation. I can choose to respond to it in a way that will provide benefit and value or I can go the other way. It’s simply my choice. This needs to be a focus and I appreciate you bringing up this topic as attitude is just about everything in! Have a great day!

Sorry – should have proofed better. The first line should say “I believe that everything…”, not Can’t. Silly autocorrect!

Yes attitude IS everything! An attitude of gratitude comes to mind!! There’s nothing to equal it. I have an opportunity to meditate with my sangha for 3 hours, today! I am grateful. The rest and peace derived from that magical time sets me up for days and weeks to come! Loved the Earl Nightingale video!

    Hi Denny,

I love how you’re tying the concept of attitude into personal development and success! It’s so true that our beliefs shape our actions, and having the right attitude is crucial for achieving our goals. The feedback you received on your emails is really valuable, curiosity-driven subject lines and asking questions to engage the reader are great ways to build rapport and keep them interested.

I also enjoyed the Earl Nightingale quotes, especially the part about our environment being a reflection of our mental attitude. It’s a powerful reminder that we have control over how we respond to life. Looking forward to checking out the video!

Hi, Denny! I do need to adopt more of a can-do attitude. It helps me to think of Fonzie from Happy Days. If Fonzie was starting an online business, would he hesitate and cower, wondering if he could figure out the next step? No! He’d spin about, snap his fingers, and give it a try! He’d probably falter quite a bit, but he would keep going and he would succeed. To quote Nightingale, “He expects to succeed more than he fails.” Thanks for posting this week. It’s helped me a lot!

It’s easy to think of “attitude” as just a mindset, but as you beautifully point out, it’s the reflection of our beliefs and the driving force behind our actions.

Your experience with the Facebook lead ad and email reviews is a great example of having the right attitude toward continuous improvement.

Earl Nightingale’s quotes are powerful especially the idea that our environment mirrors our mental attitude.

It’s a timely reminder that success isn’t just about strategy but about embodying the right attitude to back it up. I’m looking forward to seeing how you continue to evolve both in your business and mindset!

I am reminded of a fridge magnet that says, ‘Don’t Give Me Your Attitude I Have One of My Own’
